What makes the ScanNCut DX SDX325 Special?

*My Connection (NEW) – Send design files back and forth between the XP2 and ScanNCut DX SDX325 over WLAN.

*Blade Sensor Technology- automatically detects the height or thickness of the fabric on the mat. Can adjust to half cut for cutting vinyl. Can cut up to 3mm or 0.1” thick

*Thin Fabric blade- cuts fabric for quilting and applique. Must use fabric without any type of adhesive on the back. If using adhesive, use the standard blade. Always recommend starching the fabric to stabilize it and to prevent it from shredding or stretching when removing from mat.  Cuts thickness .25-.50 mm.  This blade and holder only work in the DX models.

*Stand alone model, no computer required. This allows for editing directly on the screen, i.e.: rotating, cropping, welding, resizing. Unlike other cutting machines, designs come built into the machine including fonts and quilt patterns.

*1303 Built-In Designs, 140 Quilt Blocks and 17 Lettering Fonts

*Reads PES/PHC/PHX applique files automatically from a USB.  Included is Stitch Line Detection Mode: Will read an embroidery file allowing you to draw, emboss or foil these designs

*Scan to Cut Data: Scan in a hand drawn design or piece of fabric and save as data to use over and over again. This is perfect for fussy cutting designs from fabric.

*Direct Cut: Allows you to cut a printed fabric or drawn media directly.
